Mitmed Uuesalu küla majad on ridaelamud või terrassmajad, mis on ehitatud viimase viie aasta jooksul. Uuesalu puhul otsustas arendaja ümbrusele sobivalt rohelise ehitusviisi kasuks – kõik, enamasti ühekorruselised majad on puit- või kivivoodriga. „Vastupidavate ja kestvate materjalide valik aitab kaasa tervisliku elukeskkonna loomisele ja tagab väga hea heliisolatsiooni“, ütleb Uuesalu Development Ltd juhatuse liige Janar Muttik.
Uuesalu elamurajoon asub Tallinna kesklinnast vaid 8 km kaugusel. Kodune hubasus, rahu ja sõbralikud kohalikud elanikud on vaid mõned märksõnad, mis kirjeldavad Uuesalu elamurajoonis valitsevat õhkkonda. See on väga populaarne noorte ja lastega perede seas, sest piirkonnas on privaatsed ja avarad korterid, rohke haljastus ja hästi läbimõeldud taristu.

Pärast kõigi saadaolevate variantidega tutvumist otsustas majaomanik Thermia kasuks. Atlas Tradingi välja pakutud süsteem põhines passiivse jahutuse mooduliga maasoojuspumbal Thermia Diplomat Optimum G3 8kW, mis vastas projekti kõigile nõuetele.
Investor ehitas uut maja ja otsustas kasutada taastuvenergia allikat. Maja elamispind on 235 m² ja see asub Kesk-Sloveenias Domžale linnas , umbes 15-minutilise sõidu kaugusel Ljubljanast ja sama kaugel Alpidest. Majaomanik oli hästi kursis erinevat tüüpi taastuvenergia allikatega ja oma uue maja energiatarbega. Maja keldrikorrusel on koduspaa saunaga, treeninguseadmetega ja mullivanniga, mis vajab aastaringset kütmist.

The old oil-fired heating system was replaced with a Thermia Atec 13 air-source heat pump. In addition to the heat pump, an indoor “Plus” kit was installed –comprising a 3-15 kW electric auxiliary heater, Class A circulation pump and 3-way valve – as well as a 300-liter domestic hot water tank. The owner decided to remove the old solar installation and use the heat pump as the only source of heating and domestic hot water for the house.
